Why is clean energy important to you? Ever since I created and launched the nation’s leading green power program at PGE, I 've focused my career on finding ways to reduce carbon emissions.

What’s your proudest accomplishment in clean energy? Creating and building the nation’s leading green power program at PGE and in winning the US DOE Green Power Pioneer Award.

What did you do before entering clean energy? I worked for the City of Portland.

How did you first get introduced to clean energy? By starting up the green power program at PGE

What is something you wish more people knew about your job? We don't have to wait for cleaner, quieter and less polluting energy and transportation technologies. They are here now.

Why should Congress invest in clean energy jobs, not fossil fuel jobs? Clean energy is the only way we can mitigate the damage we have and are causing to the planet by our use of fossil fuels.
