What’s your proudest accomplishment in clean energy Educating the next generation in clean energy and a catalyst in developing many large scale solar AND rural solar projects as well.
What did you do prior to working in clean energy? Student
How did you first get introduced to clean energy? In 1992 as the Energy Planner for Montgomery County Maryland to plan various incentives to reduce energy consumption then design a solar system to offset utility cost and peak shaving!
What do you wish more people knew about the clean energy industry? It’s importance for our environment global warming is real and clean energy is essential for our planet!
What does your job mean to you and your family? It’s my life’s work and passion. My family has always supported me 100%!
How is clean energy helping your community / state? Solar and wind here in Texas has offset energy cost and reliability especially during the summer months..it’s quite a challenge in oil land i.e. Texas!
Why should congress invest in clean energy jobs? My career has spanned over 40 years and it has been diversified because I am not an energy thus liberal arts lady has made a difference!
