Why is clean energy important to you? It’s an imperative to fight climate change because it directly impacts the type of planet I leave my children and grandchildren.

What’s your proudest accomplishment in clean energy Being a trailblazer in helping my firm begin its Energy Transition clean energy ambitions in renewable generation development.

What did you do prior to working in clean energy? I was a commercial finance and supply chain professional within the oil and gas industry, also a former military war veteran — U.S. Army Officer

How did you first get introduced to clean energy? Working for an energy company that is engaged in both fossil fuel and renewable power generation.

What do you wish more people knew about the clean energy industry? Significant amount of engagements with various types of stakeholders (internal teams, govt, private sector, regulators, academia, etc.). It takes a village to incubate renewable generation development opportunities.

What does your job mean to you and your family? It means playing a role in tackling the biggest problem our planet faces by bringing forward decarbonization solutions.

How is clean energy helping your community / state? It’s diversifying our energy mix and bringing forward additional job opportunities in a growing sector.

Why should congress invest in clean energy jobs? Our growth trajectory targets in clean energy projects as part of our climate action plan will require that our workforce is ready in order to develop, construct and operate these projects.
