Why is clean energy important to you? I love being a part of a disruptive sector and changing the type of fuel people use to live their life.
What’s your proudest accomplishment in clean energy? Creating a lobbying group of friendly competitors and teaching them policy and politics.
What did you do before entering clean energy? Lobbyist. Healthcare. Non-Profits.
When were you first introduced to clean energy? I came into the industry as a lobbyist for distributed generation.
What should more people know about your role? I rely on my employees and customers to be advocates for the bigger mission. Without their voices, large battles can't be won.
How does clean energy impact your community? More jobs. Clearer environment.
What does clean energy mean to you and your family? As a mom, I am happy that what I do matters. Being away from my family can be hard but the sacrifice is worth it.
Why should Congress invest in clean energy jobs, not fossil fuel jobs? Because it is the right thing to do. Connecting clean energy to health and the wellbeing of our community is critical and congress needs to support this in funding and conversations.
