Jim Stack, has been in the industry for 22 years, is the President of Phoenix Elec Auto (501C3 non-profit) and lives in Arizona.

Why is clean energy important to you? It is the future for our world to survive.

What’s your proudest accomplishment in clean energy? Getting net-metering set up in 2004.

What did you do before entering clean energy? Telecom, landline, wireless and then satellite.

When were you first introduced to clean energy? I moved to Phoenix AZ and could not understand why everyone did not have solar PV at their homes. So I added it to mine in 2001 before incentives. It was better than gold.

What should more people know about your role? The FACTS about Solar PV.

What does your job mean to you and your family? It’s our life.

Why should Congress invest in clean energy jobs, not fossil fuel jobs? Clean energy is so much better than any fossil fuel. It has less water use, no clean up after use and spills. It also is the lowest cost.
