Why is clean energy important to you? To tackle climate change, health issues & inequity related to air pollution, to cut funding to totalitarian regimes funded through fossil fuels, fixing biodiversity here and abroad, re-shoring key industries to the US, and more!

What’s your proudest accomplishment in clean energy? Pushing for cutting investments in fossil fuels and into renewables and fuel economy technologies as an investment manager 10 to 15 years ago.

What did you do before entering clean energy? Entrepreneurship and investment management.

When were you first introduced to clean energy? As a child during the first set of oil shocks.

What should more people know about your role? There is so much potential in innovative startups!

How does clean energy impact your community? It is an indirect impact through improved national and global competitiveness of new technologies which will also benefit NY in due course.

What does clean energy mean to you and your family? Personal satisfaction & fulfillment from participating in exciting new ventures which contribute new solutions to our many climate challenges, and the ability to fund our continued life in Brooklyn.

Why should Congress invest in clean energy jobs, not fossil fuel jobs? Because the multiplier effect of clean energy investments on jobs, health, national security and climate are much, much, much higher than for fossil fuels.
