Clean Energy Spotlight: Rob Gramlich

This week’s #CleanEnergySpotlight is a #grid expert with over 25 years of experience in electricity markets and grid policy. Meet Robert Gramlich, president and founder of Grid Strategies LLC. 

Grid Strategies LLC is a #power sector consulting firm. They help clients understand and overcome the barriers to incorporating #cleanenergy into the electric grid.

Prior to this, Robert served as senior vice president and interim CEO of the American Clean Power Association, where he managed transmission and power market policy. He also co-founded the Future Power Markets Forum.

To Robert, grid policy isn’t some minor issue or niche topic. It’s essential. “Everybody cares about reliability and the public safety and health that comes with a reliable power system…Transmission is usually what saves the day when one region is short”, he said at last June’s CE4A webinar on the electrical grid, “Powering America: Building Our Electric Grid for the 21st Century.”
