Wisconsin's Biggest Solar Farm
Wisconsin's largest solar farm, Badger Hollow, can power 90,000 homes. Spanning 2,000 acres in Iowa County, it has 800,000 panels generating clean energy. The farm uses bifacial panels for efficiency, even in winter. It’s a collaboration of state utilities to cut carbon emissions and helps local farmers by leasing their land.

Home Clean Energy to Cut Peak Demand
Residential distributed energy resources (DERs), like EVs and in-home batteries, could meet the expected peak energy demand by 2035, says Deloitte. Utilities will need to enhance customer engagement to maximize these resources. Using social media and data analytics, they can better communicate with customers and tailor DER programs effectively.

Floating Solar Panels on Lakes
Floating solar panels on lakes could generate lots of clean energy, says new research. Covering just 10% of lake surfaces worldwide with "floatovoltaics" could generate huge amounts of power. These panels cool off in the water, boosting efficiency, and reduce evaporation.
